Indeed, nice if you really like urban canals and lots of locks and 7 hour days. Not many hirers share this view, however... 😉 Speaking personally, I'd go via Netherton/Stourton instead of Wolverhampton, much nicer route (especially pubs!) and less than an hour per day longer... 😊 Though of course the problem with rings (especially for short hires) is that once you're committed to them, you have to get round -- if you hit any big delays*** or find the hours too long, tough... ☹️ *** Murphy's Law says these will be after you've reached the half-way point.
