  1. I appreciate that is your experience though this is also somewhat misleading. There's two different types of cannabis, Indica and Sativa and many different sub-strains falling within those categories. The latter of which (Sativa) is known to induce paranoia for some users while the former can actually relieve symptoms of anxiety and depression and help with a variety of health conditions when used as prescribed. Since 2018, cannabis has been prescribed by specialist doctors to treat many conditions including those you mentioned, but they're unlikely to prescribe Sativa dominant strains for the conditions you mentioned as they will likeky exacerbate the symptoms. It is important to note this distinction and not tarnish all forms of cannabis with the same brush especially given that it has been legal in the UK for over half a decade when prescribed by a specialist health professional.
  2. No problem, it was probably the browser versions rather than Windows per se. In terms of why you couldn't access the site, it was likely due to how older web browsers handle re-directs from http to https.
  3. I have made a tweak this end. Is it possible to try again?
  4. No not down. I don't mean to state the obvious but you would not be able to post this if it were. What error messages/codes do you get? Can you check if you are using https? We don't allow non https traffic. Also try clearing caches/check alternative browser etc Also, is your phone connected to same network as your Windows computers? No
  5. They just allow the forum software to keep you notified of any updates without having to be signed in / actively browse CWDF. I find it useful as it may often prompt me to login to reply to something in between other commitments. It's similar to email notifications only that it's more prompt. I can't see anything wrong this end, likely an issue with either browser / cache or browser plugin (ublock / adblock etc etc) I recommend the following to help isolate the issue: Clear cache Check for browser plugins like adblock or ublock. If present, disable it for this site as a test Test in another browser, e.g. Chrome or Firefox - does the issue occur on those also?
  6. It looks like you may be using older version of Chrome. Is it possible to update it to latest version and let me know if issue remains?
  7. Are you using incognito mode or similar?
  8. We have not made any changes to the layout at all this year. There are big changes yet to come in the next major update for Invision but it's too early to comment on those, only that they're on the horizon, I suspect within the next 12-18 months.
  9. I believe this is what they have planned for the M5 bridge: Source: https://www.cotswoldcanals.net/phase_1b It does seem to exaggerate the amount of headroom available though when compared to the photo I took. The restoration has been ongoing since the 1970s, long before the CRT and their financial woes, though that in itself is another debate entirely. As mentioned, I don't think there's any plans or suggestions for the Stroud Water Navigation to be operated or maintained by the CRT. It's still not entirely clear to me how ongoing funding will be achieved. I am guessing there will be a separate boat licence fee / tariff of sorts for using the waterway?
  10. I just thought I'd share a few photos which I took over the last few weeks showing recent progress of the restoration of the Stroud Water Navigation, specifically the section between Pike Lock and John Robinson (Westfield) Lock. I believe the Waterways Recovery Group recently visited to dredge out much of the section between the two locks mentioned. It's looking a lot better. I also included a photo of the M5 bridge where the canal will eventually run underneath. There's no tangible progress here other than recent planning permission to commence the works. View from Pike Bridge looking west in the direction of John Robinson (Westfield) Lock: Another view looking west in the direction of John Robinson (Westfield) Lock: Recent dredging of the section looking east towards Pike Bridge: Recent dredging of the section looking east towards a "Dock" in the direction of Pike Bridge. Not sure why they call it a dock as it doesn't resemble one? View of John Robinson (Westfield) Lock. Progress has been slow but incremental: A view of the M5 bridge where the canal will need to traverse underneath. My dog was contemplating how this would be achieved.
  11. Invariably software updates will often result in exchanging one software bug for another, unfortunately that is the nature of software development - but crucially they also iron out known vulnerabilities during software updates.
  12. This is an older version of Chrome, nearly 2 years old. Definitely worth updating it as David suggests.
  13. Your browser does not trust the certificate for this site or more specifically the certificate authority. However, there is a valid certificate installed which should be suitable for our requirements. It looks like you're using Chrome? Is it possible to confirm and also the version? Does the same issue occur if you try another browser? Determining Chrome version on Android Open the Chrome App. Navigate to the 3-dots in the upper-right corner. Choose Settings and scroll down to the About Chrome section. The current version of Chrome will display at the top (See Figure 3). Figure 3 (Android): Also and as an aside; I am not sure I'd recommend using Incognito mode when browsing CWDF. CWDF needs to make use of browser cookies to work properly. Incognito mode can interfere with this but I'm not suggesting that's the issue in this case.
  14. With due respect we need to know only about problems that are still occurring and ideally, any screenshots or specific error messages so that we can troubleshoot any issues should they arise.
  15. Thank you for the feedback. The admin in question raises a good point though. Many if not most manufacturers stop maintaining software/firmware for older devices at a certain point, typically within 5 years. At which point they may be vulnerable to security exploits. This can (and does) lead to people / businesses having their devices compromised leading to fraud and identity theft among other things. When not volunteering my time on CWDF, I get paid to deal with the consequences of that in my day job. I'd always recommend keeping all devices up to date especially those that connect to the internet.
