Well perhaps I am misunderstanding, but surely the most unusual feature of this boat is that sloping underwater shape at the rear, quite different from the conventional swim found on just about any other narrow boat. I'm no expert, but am fairly sure only one or two specific builders went for this highly unusual arrangement. I've a nagging feeling that one such builder might have been XR&D, but I could well have got the wrong one. Someone seeing this will doubtless know for certain.

It can if the internal regulator is disconnected and the Adverc is wired as an external regulator, as suggested by another member in several previous topics. However, that would need an older Adverc with an adjustable charging voltage, I can't see how ding this will work when the Adverc shuts down on the 15-minute cycles it uses. That does not mean that a field diode or a solder joint has not failed, so worth testing if it has not been done
