You're beginning to live very dangerously!!

We Nationalists will be after your blood (and your money)!

Now if you'd said your trip to the UK..........

WALES?

After yesterday's match, I'm glad I have some roots in Scotland!

(Sorry Graham, not trying to derail the thread. Like me, Tim is a proud England supporter.)

I knew that! You missed the irony!

But - to spell it out - I was trying to make the point that moderation (aka censorship if applied to yourself) is not all A Bad Thing.

IIRC it was Mr Smelly after a dog they had at one time that had been named for obvious reasons.

I thought it referred to the various politicians he chose to use in his avatar... :)

Get well soon Tim, you are sorely missed on this forum.

Totally correct, he has also had a kidney transplant so is fairly poorly.

Please pass on my best wishes. He was one of the members who sent PMs asking where I was when I took my health induced "sabbatical".

We will always have our ideological differences in public but often gave each other a respectful nod in private.

There are many folk on here, like MrSmelly who I will vociferously disagree with on the open forum but happily buy a drink in RL...

...except ChrisW...He's rich enough to pay for the drinks all night.

So didn't speak but did get a text reply from Tim, to say he is poorly is an understatement I think. Text from Tim

Blue lighted to Cardiff hospital yesterday on agony. Long story short I have perforated bowel. Very bad. Might need stoma but doing other stuff first. Not up to speaking mate will let you know any change will be here at least a week

That certainly sounds better news than the earlier posting, hope he is out of hospital at the earliest opportunity, give him my best wishes.

Mine too.

I only met Tim once as we passed going in opposite directions, so the opportunity for conversation was somewhat limited.
