Strangely for me it seems to be just the one thread which is duplicating (this one) 17 showing on the VCN page currently.

Back when Smallpox was still around we had a kid return to school from a holiday in Tunisia. He developed a rash the school had daily visits for body temperature checks and staff who had been in contact full examinations daily. So not terribly unusual.

Strangely that isn't a problem the Mountain Rescue Teams often have to deal with. It is many decades since I did any lumpy water sailing but there was a compass on board that worked. I haven't tried but I suspect things like back bearings on mountains several miles away could be a problem on a phone.

The Lake District MR teams are having a problem with people navigating by apps or google maps and not carrying a map and compass, let alone knowing how to use one.

At that time I was sat in a public meeting about the low flying in the Lakes. The Liaison Officer said "of course the never fly below 250 feet above sea level". Which was fine until somebody pointed out that was 200 feet lower than the hall we were sat in so the would be tunneling. I suspect he meant 250 feet from the ground they were passing over.

I took it as more of a description of the game (which I didn't watch) rather than seeking Kudos.

Surely if people were discussing politics in the pub the effect would be the same. IIRC the Politics and current events section was started so others could more easily avoid such discussions. More easily than if they were mixed on with threads in the pub.

You live and learn I always thought this was a Baby Grand. It's only got 3 wheels.
