From from to back

Saloon

kitchen (galley sounds a bit pretentious on a narrowboat)

bathroom (well it does have a hip bath)

dogs bedroom

room with no name

engine room

back cabin.

"room with no name" is a bit of a mouthful, should be storeroom but this led to confusion as there is rather a lot of stuff stored n the dogs bedroom!

From the stern:

The Dream Kitchen (because its mostly still a dream)

The Study (will be a large dinette)

The Saloon (as I can't think of a better word)

The En-suite (its almost in the bedroom)

The Master Bedroom (140 x 200 fixed bed)

and ... The Big Space Where The Cratch Will One Day Be.

Cratch.

Bedroom (because it has a bed in it!)

Bathroom (sounds much better than 'bog' - and there's a shower in there also) (and an influence from the USA mixed in) (Luray, Virginia)

Kitchen

Tail.

or, in Finnish:

Nokka ('beak'/nose)

Makuuhuone (bedroom)

Vessa (= WC prounced 'vay-say' but vessa is quicker to say, or 'veskis' to be politer)

Keittiö (kitchen)

Häntä (tail)

On the youtube videos of boats for sale they refer to it as the ' Saloon '

I call our toillete room the ' $h1t House ', people have different names for the same room.

My grandmother called it the "small retiring room"!
