Red Wharf waiting to go down onto the Montgomery.

Edited to make it work HOORAY!! Thanks for the nice comment about the boat. We think she is a nice looking boat too but then we're biased. The name came from the first owners, I was told they ran one of the pubs at Red Wharf Bay on Anglesey. It sounds a bit like 'Red Dwarf' of course. To confuse matters even more I'm looking for a garden gnome in the form of as Red Army soldier.........fur hat, greatcoat, snow on boots etc. as a boat mascot. Anyone any idea where I could get one? :D:D:D

If you look down that page there's a section that says "Grab your Code". It includes the bit with the IMG tags that you need to copy and paste

Manual method to post image. Just open web page where image is located, right click on image & select "Copy Image address", then insert it between this set of square brackets.

[img=put the image address here]

On Photobucket under your uploaded picture should be an "IMG code" option. Highlight & copy address within which includes the code in brackets so all you have to do is paste into your post.

Check with "Preview" that image displays ok before posting.

I'm currently pootling down the GU towards London but plan to visit the Oxford and the Thames before I take her home to the K&A this autumn

Please give me a wave as you go past or stop for a natter

Hope to see some of you soon

By Dad's boat. He'll never figure out how to use the internet, let alone a forum. So, with his permission, FMC Columbia:

Absolutely beautiful, that's the layout we would like. Who carried out the work and how did they get the floor on one level ?

Just off Stiffkey/Blakeney/Wells-next-the Sea I'd say

Richard

It was just off Blakeney. We had a great run up from Great Yarmouth and arrived way too early to enter Wells so we had a great afternoon anchored in the bay with the seals. A quick dinghy ride to the beach where the seals watched with interest then as we dinghied back to the boats the seals were swimming around the dinghies. A few beers back on the boat with no one around but us, Dev, seals and a few sea birds and then a great evening entry to Wells harbour.

My favourite was the one with the God-like shaft of light from the sky :)

The new camera doesnt seem to be so good at catching those shots

Hello and thanks.

Im not really sure what to call the "indent" its a feature on RW Davis boats. Im sure someone more knowledgeable than me will be along and give its correct term.

If you fancy a holiday, we hire her out on a weekly basis.

Could you email me details of hiring your boat please?

Hi Andrew,

we moored just a few boats up from Dove recently at Market Drayton, no sign of you or your good lady. Unfortunately, I never had my Kodak with me at the time!
