You will have read the struggles i have had with my 12v Dometic. Currently testing removal of the ice compartment and using it as a larder fridge. The ice compartment is an innovation. ;) The main thing must be to have ventilation preferably from the bilges, in at the bottom and exiting freely all round. use a thermometer, the buttons are a guideline : Not very Cool 10C Cooler 8-10C Cool, often 8C, (should be 5C) ☆ Freezer activated There are box type fridges which are top entry, the cold air is not displaced every time you access, but i doubt if they will fit, worth a look.
