My daughter's first job after graduating was writing for a recycling company. She went on a site visit to a large recycling facility and was horrified by the conditions the sorters had to work in - with very little PPE and ventilation. She came home quite upset about it. We hear a lot about how work-shy many people are nowadays but not so much about what some people have to put up with in order to make ends meet. It was a very humbling experience for her, and for us hearing about it.
