monkeyhanger
How do you work that out? On ebay it says the engine is in Northants. Hillmorton is in Warwicks.

RLWP
Company contact addresses : RN House Granthams Bridge Boat Services The Locks Rugby Warwickshire CV21 4PP The 'works' are elsewhere though This is the misleading part of the ad: All parts for any refurb are available. New dm2's are available at £18995.00 and £12000.00 refurbished so grab a bargain! It could read 'we have all the parts for you to refurbish your engine'. I think it says 'buy this engine. You can get all the bits. It's a bargain compared to a new one' Richard

Leisure boater
Gardner 3LW on EBay, see item 172100148203. Looks well finished. It's quoted at £4500 if you get it for that you have a good deal. There is at least £2500 labour in a 3LW rebuild without the bits and base engine cost. Leisure boater
Doesn't appear to have a transmission though, so that's another £1,500... You still have a rebuilt 3LW for under £7000.
MtB
You still have a rebuilt 3LW for under £7000. But paradoxically, if it had one less cylinder it would be worth 50% more!
