I'm not questioning that they are going to Hull, just wondered where they found to dry dock them.

Maybe they have some sort of arrangement with the North Sea Ferries ?

Well well, turns out a cart load of supposition has been posted on here, especially as to who tied the boat up, who is responsible for the damage etc etc. You'll all have to go and look at the other channel.... Go on, be brave.????

I wiped my feet on the way out as I didnt want to spread the muck onto the towpath.....there still seems to be an odour though.....

It's the land of milk, honey and FREEDOM. Not dark at all. Several members of CWDF, banned for forthright speech, or in some cases, no reason at all, started another forum with self moderation. Or no moderation depending on your viewpoint. Others then joined them, some, like myself visit both fora. Tony Dunkley, as a staunch defender against CRT managerial excesses, was probably the first out the door.

As seven eighths of CWDF members are also members over there I'm not sure why you think anybody needs to be brave. Not to mention the whole stramash happened 4 years ago so I doubt anybody cares who's on which forum anymore. Hardly the great giggle that 4 emojis would suggest.

Are you aware that Johnv is one of the people who were banned from cwdf? 

 

He never caused any harm and I'm pretty sure he enjoyed contributing to this forum but was banned.

Did you know that some people were banned from using the forum? 

 

Can you understand how someone might feel about this ? To be later told "oh you can come back if you like" might be taken to be offensive.
