As a general boater, which is why I put it in the general boating section (cos that's what everybody reads first) I want to announce that I am marrying Helen Faber on Friday, November 16th, and I want the world to know, because she reads this forum, and I love her to bits.

Congratulations Dominic and soon-to-be Mrs. Dominic! Was this a recent decision or has it been in the offing for some time but you're only just 'coming out?' :D

We've been together for 5 years, and she took me back to the place we first got together, the Wharf pub at Welford, on Feb 29th this year, and asked me. How romantic is that?

 

I hope you enjoy being married as much as I have for the last 23 years. :cheers:

Congratulations!

 

As someone who has only been married 9 months, 10 days, 19 hours, 40 minutes and 27 seconds I can thoroughly recommend it

 

and don't forget to share a photo with us when you can

 

And I thought you'd been married for . . . . . . and 28 seconds.

 

Congratulations Dominic and Helen, not much point in me going boat shopping on Saturday then?
