Theo
Bought a CD at the end of a concert the other day. When I looked through the tracks there wa one called "Bolinder". Since it was a CD called Red House featuring Nyckelharpa (a Swedish instrument) music I thought that it was a cooincidence. I was surprised to read that the musiceians were so entranced by Spey's Bolider that they recorded it and wrote a jaunty bit of music using the rhythms. PM me to know more. blackrose
The first time I heard about Bolinder when I bought my first boat 17 years ago, I thought they were talking about champagne! Bit like when a bloke was telling me about his Springer and I thought he was talking about his dog! Edited December 25, 2015 by blackrose
mark99
Or B and W speakers - "why are BMW now making speakers I thought".
MtB
That's interesting, I was aware of Bowers and Wilkins speakers before I ever heard of BMW cars, so my experience was the exact reverse. I thought 'blimey, a speaker manufacturer making cars? Now that's a big step up!'
