Canal Master.

Interesting description.

Also it has 'heaps of kerb appeal' which is presumably a significant advantage for someone who has an interest in motorcars.

I had to look up 'wedding cake tree' yuk! definitely an acquired taste.

On a tour of Scotland many years ago I stopped at a church and on wandering around saw a grave stone naming a local person. I can't remember the name (I'm sure I have a negative or slide somewhere) but the next line on the presumably Victorian stone was "Boghead".

Always wondered about that.

"Kerb side" appeal means it looks nice from the road, presumably they put that because they realised the "interior appeal" was zero.

Only leasehold

Presumably because the tunnel runs right beneath it, so BW/CRT wanted to keep the freehold.

Oh yeah I hadn't noticed that. The tunnel runs under us as well I think as well as under our front garden and garage, but we are freehold.

Hope land, "I hope that one day, I will get planning permission."

Dream on, if there was any chance the vendor would have done it.

Quite.

I am imagining the vendor has been squabbling for years if not decades with the local council trying to get PP for a small housing estate, and finally given up on it.

As it is canalside, perhaps they meant "keb appeal"?  :)

Lovely exterior to the Welsh cottage, but Lordy - inside! Does Robbie Savage live there?

Maybe importing a few badgers / moles to the canal bank side shoud be the approach - a quick breach and a new marina base created overnight ?😁
