I just read 'Biological War, a scenario', based on extensive interviews with active players, and it's premise is as follows. The major powers are all continuing with 'gain of function' experiments on bacteria and viruses. 'gain of function' is the business of blending dna, to create virus and bacteria that move from contact to aerosol, override vaccinations, contain secondary viruses etc. It's very very bad news, but it is going on. A biological weapon that eliminates 'them' leaving the land free, for vaccinated 'us' is the obvious progression from crude MAD nukes. Particularly from an embattled regime, with sophisticated capability. It's a war winner, a magic bullet. There's a leak at a Siberian lab. It goes global. The problem being, bugs can be engineered to be vaccine proof, before the vaccine is developed. Civilisation collapses. To imagine gain of function research is not going on, is seriously nieve. Of course it is, and of course it goes on at Porton Down in the UK too. Does anyone remember those 'cold cure research' projects that desperate people did there back in the 70s and 80s? Seriously, the MOD looking for cold cures? Get real. 'Plague prevention centre' located in a remote bit of Siberia, is also 'potential plague based bio weapon development centre' in Siberia. It's not to be taken at face value. The UK has probably been left behind in this race though, The US, China, Russia - will have moved ahead. An accident with an enhanced virus-in- development, is a huge, monstrous risk. That, you will recall, was the accusation against China, still extant, about what happened in Wuhan. Millions and millions died - possibly from a 'gain of function' virus in development, not fully formed, pre-virus. Not a handy dead bat in a market. The investigation was completely compromised. People died of a ferocious pneumonic flu at that institute, and the Chinese govt obstructed every step of investigation. Lets hope they get this leak under control in russia, but dont believe a word they say.
