Has the potential to be a decent development. Ellesmere is a funny old place and it feels to me like there's some untapped potential there. The warehouse at the top of the arm is a lovely old building and it would be good to see it rescued.

Not for me then - I like my 80 bed hotels to accommodate a maximum of 160!

To me the development is too big for Ellesmere and i bet they dont want smelly boats near them.

They will have to improve the mobile phone signals . . . as we discovered earlier this year (and confirmed by local phone shops) there is very little coverage in the town! (Or for much of the Llangollen for that matter)

the plans were submitted in 2007 and only just been approved, it is the wharf they are developing.

Ha! Do you know how many liveaboard narrowboaters are on this forum? This is the very last place I'd have expected to see moaning about the size of homes.
