Blimey does this mean I can double the size of my boat using a mirror, too? I can have a widebeam, YIPPEE!!

Presumably it works on locks too...

A simple experiment to ease congestion on motorways, by doubling their width with mirrors, failed, because the new lanes so created proved to be already full of traffic!

It does work, except if you check in the mirror you'll find you are already occupying the extra space

I can't help feeling that the OP has seriously underestimated the performance of his kit.

Firstly - it must be placed exactly in the middle of one's bote - when it is, by definition, central heating (and we all know that's warmer)

Secondly, even if using the mirror to double the output - one should also wear Rose-tinted spectacles - they'll increase the output by a factor of 1N.

When my wife looks in the mirror and say's "Does this make my arse look big ?

I can at least justify the answer,

(While I am running about avoiding the flying pots)

Reminds me of that old classic "Does this make my bum look big?"

"No dear, it's all the pies"...

Just remembered another response NOT to use.

Wife (looking in the bathroom mirror): Does my arse looks big in this?

Answer: No, well not really . It is a small bathroom.

Seems legit ... at a AUS dollar and a bit it should be a bargain - if only for the laugh you get detective.gif

For some weird reason, Australians really go for this kind of thing.

So bloody odd in a country that is saturated with sun.

  • 3 weeks later...

The magnetic perpetual motion motor! Glad to hear it is still alive and kicking!

This just reminded me of an old boy who took me under his wing in the 50's he had a workshop with a lathe, milling machine etc etc.

He was always trying to crack perpetual motion with wonderful machines made of spinning discs, swinging magnets, pivotting magnets and bob weights. They would run for 20 or 30 hours but friction always won in the end. I wnt on to become a Toolmaker.
