Yes that was commented on when it first came up - it wouldn't be to my taste, but at least you could use antifreeze, so not have to worry about it in the winter, I suppose. I'd rip it out and fit a proper boat engine, like a nice marinised Isuzu or Vetus.

However, it is a fantastic piece of craftmanship, I have seen one of these at Braunston show and it is a big crowd puller. This one does not appear to be anything like to the same standard as the one that has been exhibited at Braunston though. Or at least not to my eye. Every time I see Eagle I am reminded that I very nearly destroyed it at the Braunston show. It was moored just on the corner as you come into the marina. It was impossible to see it and I came within inches of squashing it.

Jrtm
I find it more amusing that it has blue on the swans neck and mop but more that it has a gu style pigeon box and cabin ventilator. I couldnt work out if was jim or one of the fullers.

Presumably, (though I'm no expert!), it's not something you would normally expect to find on a Fellows Morton & Clayton boat in such a livery. What you have depicted are Grand Union boats, where I guess you would generally expect it, (as you would on a BW liveried boat).
