Tidy looking Ruston 2YWA - air cooled twin - will rev to 2200 rpm and 29 bhp depending on governor although this model quoted as 19.6 bhp at 1500 rpm.

One of their steam engines is in Smethwick pump house on the Old Main Line. Open every 2nd Sat IIRC.

Tangye used to make some fascinating steam powered boiler feed pumps. There was one in the old science museum running on steaming days

If the work has been properly and thoroughly carried out, that would make a superb engine for a small-to-medium sized narrowboat. Our first boat 'Octavia' had one, it had ample power, never went wrong and sounded lovely.
