not to disagree, but i'd say if a new appliance is supplied with a set of new LPG jets as part of the supplied fittings, then its a safe bet that it can be converted. Coincidentally i have just done exactly that, had a new Candy hob supplied, as LPG suitable, just needing the supplied LPG jets fitting, which was a simple job, instructions on how to do it and more importantly how/what to adjust to get the correct flame were in the installation manual. I did check the data plate and it did quote propane/butane I actually got it from these guys- really helpful and nice to deal with. Appliance Star
