Guest
Yup. Very predictable in the Nomad's residence. Traditional with sugar, golden syrup and freshly squeezed lemon juice.
Tracy D'arth
Mango, scrummy.
jeanb
Freshly squeezed orange juice and a sprinkling of sugar. Favourite for over 70 years,
Chris Lowe
I'll have some at the weekend but made using readybrek instead of flour, they turn out well and are healthier

Mac of Cygnet
Just had a couple filled with crab in cheese sauce. Feeling rather full ATM, but will probably go back later to use up the rest of the mix on the traditional lemon juice & sugar. Rather over the top, I know, but I like to mark these annual events. Rather like the first snowdrops - neither falls on the same date each year unlike birthdays, which are so predictable. (OK, I know pancake day is predictable, but I have to look it up each year.)
Hudds Lad
I’ll wait until the weekend until i make any, one batch should do it. When it comes to pancakes my daughter has hollow legs and can easily put away 8 or 9 at a sitting, i can usually get 11 or 12 out of a batch of batter so it’s slim pickings for me and my better half. Lol, last pancake I had was when coming home from school. Mum used to make them and we had them with lemon and sugar. Its over fifty years since I left school. We never did them for our kids, I introduced em to bncon butties and sausages from a young age

Jen-in-Wellies
I didn't give in to the rampant commercialism of Shrove Tuesday this year. The supermarkets have had flour and eggs on the shelves for months beforehand. Any excuse to sell you stuff you don't need and would never otherwise buy. Worse than Christmas. 😀 1
