VIC 32!

You can keep those floating blocks of flats that cruise out of Southampton past the Pier here in Ryde.

That puffer is the nicest cruise ship in the whole wide world.

(IMHO, of course)

Had a great holiday on the Puffer along with members of the Ashby Canal Association some year ago but I think this is the most beautiful cruise ship in the world and had some wonderful cruises on it

Rochdale no 1 lock today. Relining bywash with fibreglass bag.

A bit more than that - it's a standard technique for relining and reinforcing sewer pipes. The fibreglass liner is inserted into the pipe with a plastic tube inside it. The tube is first filled with water under pressure to force the liner against the existing pipe structure and then hot water is circulated through it which triggers the temperature-sensitive setting reaction of the fibreglass resin. Then the plastic bag is removed and the fibreglass ends trimmed.

Yep. I watched it and filmed it all day Thanks. No hot water but UV lamps. The UV lamps that they use for cureing the fiberglass resin are £1000 a pop the guy's said and there were 8 of themThey are coming again tomorrow to do the last little bit of the bywash to the lower pound, putting a dam around the bywash outlet. We booked the passage for Friday 10am. No chance of that. So crt are coming at 7- 30 am to get us up. Good of crt👍 would have been nice if they could have let us go up on Wednesday instead. But it was good to watch. 😁

I think dentists use the same idea for certain fillings.
