  1. Which Webasto? Is it a Webasto fuel pump or a Chinese copy?
  2. It was quite obvious it was the original.
  3. The Grand Union does not have anything to do with the Lee and Stort. Several rivers pop in and out of the GU..when those rivers do go into flood, several small sections are almost impossible to do going upstream...however, this never lasts long as the rivers have small catchment areas and drain well. On the East side of London, the River Lee is for the most kept well separated from the Lee Navigation...and below Tottenham Lock is so well controlled that only exceptional rainfall gives it some flow and a few inches of raise....further up past Stanstead Abbotts there are again a few feisty bits and low bridges. The Stort is more like a proper river and rises quite a bit making at least 3 bridges impossible and one lock inaccessible.
  4. It's a bit like the Reform Plumber candidate for Makerfields website who is desperately trying to be put as a man of the people. He only registered his company this April, and now his account has been taken over by Musks AI promoters. So his website features 2 thumbed plumbers... He seems to fit USA standard cooper fittings with pipes going nowhere.... And ...actually him posing ..... So you tell me who is trying to destroy our country with AI....because our newspapers and other media are not picking this up ....yet.
  5. I would not normally moor in Summer between Kilby Bridge and the City...I have done...late on..several times, but only when staying on board ..I would not leave it unattended. To be perfectly honest, stop at Kilby, move to the Kings Mile Castle Gardens moorings for a couple of days and then move to the Friars Mill moorings. After your concert move to the Memory lane moorings ...you might not be able to exit but that means they are safe....and then turn back.
  6. If the weather is OK, Birstall moorings or above Thurmaston lock are ok. Beyond that, the moorings by the Hopeless Wanchor are good and fairly flood resistant other than in major flood times and still manageable at those times. My suggestion is book a slot at Friars Lane, pay for any extra for peace of mind...if the river goes into flood you can't get charged for an overstay.
  7. I would actually want to know how many albums from the last 30 years of their AI career you have actually downloaded or bought Mike?
  8. Get a box of these and a decent drill, you can force the bristles under the edges and at that price doesnt really matter if you wreck one or two.
  9. I agree there are too many widebeams....
  10. That's Don and Marge on the Churnett Flight
  11. There is a reduced fee at St John's car park for some...not sure how it works and whether it is for all or not. Give John a ring.
  12. Strangely enough, today's watering hole...
  13. A$♧$ did this with a Hudson a few years ago survey showed massive pitting problems....but put it back on the market and pretended the survey didnt exist.
  14. Only because they found out you were 2nd in the Jesus Docs flinging competition on Eel Pie Island on the same weekend.
  15. It is good to know that sheep only usually die by slow streams.
