Tesla
Can anyone recommend a good Internet store for buying bed linen for a 4ft matress? Most shops, e.g. Dunelm, seem to stock very little or nothing?

Linen Cupboard, Chiltern Mills, Textiles Direct, amazon, to name but a few (GIYF). Edited December 15, 2013 by Beaker

Ex- Member
Try searching for Egyptian cotton sheets, they tend to be more regular in the 4 f/t size. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Egyptian-Cotton-Thread-Fitted-Double/dp/B005UQ0BEO Egyptian cotton is far nicer too. ETA Just found the site we get our linen. https://www.chilternmills.co.uk/prod/320/387/0/small_single%7B2ft_6_inch_%7D_and_small_double%7B4ft%7D_fitted_sheet.aspx Their Egyptian cotton stuff was a very reasonable price when we bought a couple of years ago, look out for special offers, we bought ours on one and saved a heap of cash on high quality bedding. Leggle
Have you tried tk maxx? They have lots of odd bits of bedding. Or if you have a mattress with those button types things on it, sew loops of wide elastic to the corners and hook them on the underside buttons. Good for keeping a too big sheet in place if you've already got ones you like.
Dyertribe
Betterware or perhaps Kleenezzee sell "suspenders" for sheets to keep them in place. i uase them because OH is a restless sleeper and can detatch any sheet, fitted or not. It's Kleeneze: http://kleeneze.com/shop/around-the-home/bedroom/sleep-aids/4-sheet-straps/ Edited December 26, 2013 by Dyertribe
