What does this mean then.

£44k for a viewing?

Do they mean mooring?

I've just looked at the ad via your link - do I have to pay something now?!! Seems a bit odd - I guess you call Apolloduck and see what they say! Be interested to know. Nice airy fit-out.

I saw that on eBay the other day and almost posted it on here. Who on earth would pay just to go and view a boat?!!!

The eBay advert said it was TEN POUNDS just for a viewing.

That one is reasonably obvious. It is a way of trying to avoid paying Ebay the fees for selling something with their software. You pay a proportion of £10 to Ebay, not the price of the boat

I'm wondering if the owner is trying some such sneaky trick with AD

I was going to send a question to the seller asking "Have you gone mad or is this a mistake?" Unfortunately, unlike on eBay, there does not appear to be a mechanism for asking the seller a question.

There is a telephone number in the ad.

I quite agree. It would be like living inside a chess board.

That was all the fashion in the 70's - the vintage of H&L.

I went to see a show house about then and the bathroom was fitted out in Red/ green / black tiles. Quite put me off.

I don't think it will work anyway. £44k seems an ambitious price for a 33 year old boat.

Really?

A 33 year old Hancock and lane?

£44K seems an exceedingly high price to me!

Moorings in Stratford are a rare thing I believe, and the boat looks to be in excellent condition. Better than many boats under ten years old.
