matty40s
http://uk.news.yahoo.com/warning-storms-set-move-south-042704812.html Oi, storms are my bit..... ....I was just starting a thread on this, but will jump on yours instead. The Tuesday storm will hog all the healines at it will strike the Midlands and the South, where all the journo's live, and also things don't get hit by very high winds so often, therefore more damage likely. There will also be far more rainfall this time. This will closely be followed by a potentially even bigger storm Thursday night into Friday...... The main issue at the moment is that the Jetstream is re-inforcing these lows, being in a direct flow along the west-east low patterns currently being experienced. Québec
Just out of interest what weather sites are you guys using? Id love to find a really comprehensive one - the metoffice one is OK , any others? Met Office and Weather Underground (www.wunderground.com) which IMO is excellent. Also interesting how it came about via 'about us' link at bottom of page. Edited December 13, 2011 by Québec

Billw
The main part of the storm has headed over France. It is impossible even with the latest computer modelling to tell exactly where these storms will route as they cross the Atlantic. There still may be some snow today in the South East.
