I have been looking at moving marina next year, we are at Droitwich Spa Marina at the moment, and have been for 3 years and we now fancy a change of location. To do this I started making a spreadsheet of marinas that we had found and liked, well this got bigger and bigger and I needed to visualise this, so an export to google maps.

Then I had to add as many as I could find.. now we have

The question is now have I messed any…

thanks

First off it's River Nene not Neme!

Missing from the Nene

Northampton Marina

Blackthorn Lake Marina

Willy Watt Marina

Woodford Riverside Marina

Lilford Marina

Oundle Marina

In fact most of the Marinas on the Nene

I won't mention the Gt Ouse and it's tributaries but there are many on there as well that have been missed 😉

The pin for Fazeley Mill is not on the Fazeley Mill marina, you have it on Debbie's which is round the corner.

If you zoom in on your Google map you'll find more marinas show up than what you have pinned.

I will start looking, some of these are very hard to find 🙂

Thanks

Those 60 and 70 footer boats are easily hidden at this time of year.

I am finding more accurate ways to pinpoint the marinas, started with address and postcode, bit of work to do

Not sure why you are trying to re-invent the wheel yet again with this, and already making so many mistakes and omissions, why not just link to all the other comprehensive sources and then go and enjoy your boating.

I am not really tying to reinvent the wheel, well maybe I just like the coding and experimentation. I did find others where so out of date or missed data, maybe be a bit optimistic to even try, but someone should always try to improve things.
