Thanks a lot.

Unlike a lot of new build widebeams I've seen, I think she still looks like a boat on the inside. Looking back I'm not actually sure if this was completely intentional or just a fortunate outcome  Anyway, I'm happy with the way it's turned out.

Hi Mike,

She looks great Mike, completely different to Blue Pearl but I like it !

If we ever get tidied up around here I'll post a few internal shots now we've moved aboard properly.

Yes, I had to have a bit of a clear up before I took those shots. Would be good to see the Blue Pearl interior.

First you've got to upload your pictures to an image hosting website such as this one: http://photobucket.com/Then you can click on one of the small buttons above (Insert Image), and copy & past the direct image link.It seems like a bit of a hassle at first, but once you have some pictures in Photobucket it's pretty straightforward.Mike

Or Just copy the image code [forums and bulleton boards](to the right of the picture on photobucket) and 'paste' it here.

LOL.... None of that makes any sence to me. I will stick with building boats and running a fleet and leave the technical stuff to some one else.

Thanks anyway.................LOL

Just out of interest I wondered if any of you folk have experimented with HDR Photography.

A simple search for Canal and HDR in Flickr brings up these Stunning pics

You can even do this with non SLR cameras, I've done a few with my tiny Sony compact, obviously its much easier to produce with a decent SLR.

You need software which is now built into some photo editing programmes or the most popular is Photomatix

Cheers

I'm being asked for a password so i assume somewhere you have to tell Flickr that you want this photo to be available to everyone rather than private.

Then, if you want it to load into Canalworld put the code into the box you get be pressing the image button.

This used to be our 60' narrowboat. We moved to the USA in 1992 and after realizing we would be staying a long time we sold the nb in 1996. Still thinking about what we would like to live on when we eventually retire back to England (nb, fat nb, db or barge).

Even earlier we had a smaller 42' nb like this:

Now we are in Arizona and a long way from the canals. However, we did the Rochdale and Huddersfield & Cheshire ring 2 years ago on a Shire Cruisers hire boat for 3 weeks.

Hi to all from a new member (ish).

Our boat is a Nauticus 27ft called Riverdance and we are based in Ripon, North Yorkshire.

Riverdance is "powered" by a 1500 BMC diesel via an outdrive.
