  1. search for your bank, use it for mine and saved in my phone so its included in my mins
  2. Still wonder where it is Have empltied and filled tank now. If anyone knows please reply
  3. Thanks for replies. The water is not making anyone ill if thats what you mean. I have gone from the pump following the pipework and cant see one. Hence the post. Tank is nearly empty, so will drain before filling again.
  4. Does anyone know if Seaotters have a water filter on their water pump system? I have a 42ft built in 2006, apparently according to OH the water needs sanatising/cleaning etc but there may be a filter that would be an easier job. Anyone have any ideas? (not under kitchen sink/near pump)
  5. To keep this thread going: OH has dropped her phone and car keys into the drink on two different occasions but both moments before her parents came to visit, got the keys back but couldn't find the phone! Our bow thrusters stopped working, wasn't sure why. Had a call with the manufactures for an engineer to come out, fortunately we cancelled the call as we discovered the isolator switch had been knocked in a cupboard!!! As for others, not yet but we havn't done a lot of cruising.

    Froze in

Love the threads. I returned after Christmas to find us frozen in place. Heating worked (which was fotunate) but as we "winterised" the boat we drained the water tank. Tried to fill up from tap, reeled 50 mtr of hose out to get a trickle of water out the other end, so that means its frozen too! 20 minutes in a hot shower made the water defrost and a quick sprint to connect it up and test it, made it work. Wish I had my camera, 50 mtrs of hose in a shower is a picture, just to get water to your boat.
  7. Ordered from these guys - http://www.jpcdirect.co.uk/ They were at the London boat show but still managed to deliver next day. Thanks JPC
  8. YOUR A STAR! Never thought of that, just tried it and it worked, as you say repeat it and it will go through the system. I used a jug and a little fairy liquid and the water out of the hot tap, a few jugs later (and the bubbles to go with it) and it worked Virtual beer for you mate!
  9. Its all inbuilt, with the holding tank under the bed. the thing is electric. so basically is a mascerator (sp) The boat is only 2-3 years old! The issue occured before the pumpout and is still going after the tank is empty. It may be the pump thing but I havn't yet taken any pipes apart cos I don;t know what the systme looks like!
  10. Ok, here does The toilet has started to gurgle, it started a few days ago so as it was full I did a pump out. The toilet won't empty out to the outside world but when empting the toilet was emptied too. Now toilet still wont empty to outside but when going to holding tank, goes there and then the water comes back and gurgles, ie bubles. Its a SFA Sanimarin - Lee Sanitation toilet (according to the boat manual!) Any ideas?
  11. Oh dear, never expected them to do that. As a question, and you guys probably know best, do companies ever go back into business after going into liquidation? What do people expect the price of sea otter boats to do, do prices reflect the fact the company behind them has gone bust (if they cant be sorted?)
  12. I need ideas on the most proven way to stop birds doing their number 2's on my boat. Cleaned the boat on Wednesday and had to clean it again today after the ducks, geese and others had dropped their number 2's on the roof. We did have rope strung across, in an attempt that they wouldnt be able to land, but that failed, they just walked over it. Other ideas would be appreciated, over to you... (I did a search and found nothing on the forum) Quick Edit - Humane way of stopping them!!
  13. If you are on a mooring with elecy then you may find an underblanket a better idea than run the webasto through the night. The problem we find is you don't want to get out of bed the next day as you are cosy. We turn the webasto on 30 min before getting out of bed!
  14. Local marinas have brokerages so check out their websites. Where are you looking to moor can help with locating the boat saving moving and lifting fees. Ebay has a classified section aswell but best to see before you buy.
  15. Ha ha - Lewis, my specialist subject! Well not quite. I do know that they are going to show pictures of Oxford in either episode 3 or 4, why, cos I was there when they filmed it! Yep I worked as a technican on one of the shoots back in January. They did 2 days filming at the school I work at using certain parts of the school So I am watching it to keep an eye on the students and school that were used. Watching from the Directors chair i saw the shots that will be on TV!!!!
