I think this must be the boat they are looking for in a police helicopter,they became very interrested in us and our boat on tuesday!!!!!!I get the feeling ours is a hell of alot scruffier than this one would be though,i have been keeping my eye out anyway.Must be awful dont know what id do if someone took ours! sparkles x

Hey does anybody know where i can get a flue collar for a 6" flue?i know its slightly bigger than flues usually used on boats and there for getting hold of a collar is pretty much impossible!We are thinking of makeing our own if all else fails! x

We lived aboard a lil springer then had to let her go as we were only renting her and couldn't afford it anymore so ended back in bricks and mortar yuk!!!!!!absolutely hated it but now we have a new lil boat of our very own and will be moved on by the end of the month *fingers crossed*.We move around........wouldn't live in a marina if you payed us! sparkles x

I think you should go for it and it's good to hear that you have realised whats important in life!I don't have kids myself but i do plan to start a family on our boat and to be honest i know people who have lived in alot smaller places than a boat with kids and never had a problem Of course liveing ona boat can be a lil bit harder but you don't get anything for 'free' in life and the problems you encounter just make it all more rewarding.Lets have some positive energy on here! much love x

Hi we used to rent a narrowboat and now we've just bought our own!The problem is we brought a nice new burner for our new home wich needs a 6" flue but the flue that was left for us 5",we have been trying to get hold of a decreaser but can't seem to get the right size in this country and it will cost £100 pound to get it sent from america!!!!!!!!In which case you might aswell just buy a new flue!Does any one have any idea where we could get one from or another solution to the problem?
