Hi Bodger, yep his diary definitely has more pages than anyone else's, our boat was only 12 weeks behind promised delivery date. Got there in the end though, the boat is great. junior
I've finally worked out how to get photos on here using the Flikr app, so here's a couple of photos of my new (to me) boat, as well as a couole of photo's of what she looked like before having the cabin added. The old photo's are courtesy of the first owner, hopefully he doesn't mind me putting them on here! http://m.flickr.com/photos/102655855@N04/10455146193/ http://m.flickr.com/lightbox?id=10454990295 http://m.flickr.com/lightbox?id=10074199146 http://m.flickr.com/lightbox?id=10074113195 EDITED TO ADD; Ok so it seems I haven't quite worked out how to do it! Even though I typed it has automatically changed it to once I pressed post. Anyone know how I can get the photos to appear in the post? Athy
The first one works - confirming the impression that I got when you were buying her, that Albion is a very handsome boat indeed. Edited November 8, 2013 by Athy
Doorman
I got to see all of the photo's ok by pressing the 'view all sizes' option and as Athy says; "a very handsome boat indeed". Your patience when looking for a new boat was well worth the end result.

Your patience when looking for a new boat was well worth the end result. I agree - lovely looking boat! I do particularly like the 1980s version, but clearly its later guise makes it a far more practical home, and it still looks very well proportioned. A lot of modern day builders could usefully take note - yours is far prettier than many that are much newer!

Albion
I've had no contact with the previous owner but I do believe Albion lived at Braunston for many years. I'm sure that will be it then as Dave used to be a very active boater many moons ago but has been much less visible for years and I got the impression that Albion wasn't being used much over recent years. Albion used to be moored in Tim Coghlan's marina at Braunston the last time I heard of her. Roger

I bought her from the brokerage at Braunston and Tim did inform me that he hasn't been used for years and years. No such option appears on my screen: for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th pictures, when I press the link I just get a full-sized completely black screen, with no controls of any kind. I get the same but the picture does eventually load into the black screen. I've no idea why I can't get the pictures to appear in the post.
