I think you passed us here in Audlem.

What a stunner!

Roger Fuller boats are quality craft and it shows well with your boat. His granddaughter is having a birthday party here soon so maybe I'll get a chance to have a chat with him.

Thanks DM. Yes we went through there a couple of weeks back.

There was another R Fuller boat there at the same time called Lodestar.

If I had seen you I would have made myself known to ya.

You can't miss me Mark, I'm 6'4" stunningly good looking with golden locks of hair! Oh no, sorry, that's the barmaid at one of the village pubs.

You might have noticed our LT mooring with all of the flower baskets between lock 13 & 14. Chrissie loves her garden there. We are often treated to lovely well kept boats such as yours passing through and the Transport Festival is due at the end of the month so that attracts much brass and Brasso. :-)

The reason I'm posting this (40' Delph Marine 1987) taken just below Wrenbury a couple of weeks ago is that I am stuck working in a very uncomfortable Central London when I want so much to be back on the boat.

Am I working to live, or living to work?

I'm afraid that if in Britain, you are living to work!

The Aussies have got the right idea and the irony is that we sent most of them over there.

How do you post pictures on the forum?

I have tried the attach media but nothing. Do they need to be somewhere else besides on your PC to show?

I have seen a few people have this issue so if someone could give a simple guide I am sure a lot of people would thank you for it

You have to place your 'photo in somewhere like Photobucket (it's easy and free), then import it from there to this forum. See this forums "Frequently Asked Questions".

First post showing our boat. Having a canal side picnic with a friend

And very nice too! A lovely scene typical of how beautiful the canals are there to enjoy peacefully.

I like the idea of the towpath (cycle lane) safely off-set away from you in the safety of your easy chairs. We have sat down previously to enjoy a picnic or BBQ and almost been seriously injured by inconsiderate cyclists.

Or add photos to the forum gallery, then open them, copy and paste (you need to open the forum twice really)

Very nice too! All of that hard work will have been worth the effort!

The first picture reminds me of how I tend to work, with everything around me and never knowing or remembering where I've left something. A muddled way of doing things I know and I only wish that I could be more organised.

Almost there (stay on target)...

Four years ago, if you had opened the front doors on that Cat, you would have seen this:

As of this weekend, it now looks like this:

Ah - I assume the pair of oars is your alternative to RCR memership?
