3 internet reception in Braunston

Likely to be down in Braunston for 2 or 3 days at the end of this week but will probably need to have reasonable internet access to send and receive some documents. What's the signal like there?

3 is a bit hit and miss down by the marina but works quite well at the Admiral Nelson and Boathouse for some reason

Reasonable with an aerial when moored by the footbridge.

Three and Orange have been fine for me all round the Braunston "dip," Vodafone or any of its relatives, no chance.

Same with me, currently in the marina, and have no problem at all with my T-Mobile/Orange connection....however haven't had t.v. for 4 weeks now due to poor reception

post 11 was mine re: reading glasses and the cost of WiFi at Braunston. We've only had the boat out once so far, last Thursday with a couple of kind forum members showing us the ropes. Didn't realize we whizzed by anyone, but if we did it was completely unintentional. Dave and I are planning on having a go tomorrow on our own - if we do pass by and don't wave it's simply because we've scared the be-jesus out of ourselves and are intently concentrating on not bumping into another boat, bridge or bank

I'm on Three and get nothing in or near the marina when inside a boat.

Further up by the Boathouse I get a reasonable signal inside the boat or a full signal if I put the phone on the roof.

Tim's had new wifi installed now which costs £60 a year I think the last Marina newsletter said.

O2 is very poor around the marina, Tmobile signal is good, but I fell out with them, their customer service is crap.

Hi, we've enjoyed good reception on 3 with a huwaei mifi hanging inside one of the windows. We're moored in the marina at Braunston but the reception is good all around the area on 3.

Someone has thoughtfully provided a bench half way up the hill from Butcher's bridge to the village. That spot always seems OK with my 3 mifi.
