  3. In view of your use of the words "End of." I find the above rather amusing. Innit?
  4. Again, from memory, haven't they come up with a variety of distances, possibly dependent on whether or not the "distance adviser" had a row with his/her OH prior to coming to work. As for it being their show and therefore they make the rules, that maybe so but, under the relevant regulations do they have the authority to make the rules concerning distance travelled? And, if they don't have the authority, does anyone other than boaters give a damn that sections of the boating community are being subjected to harassment and intimidation?
  5. But surely, CaRT don't know what the distance you need to cover in a given time period is.
  6. I didn't see any mention of "Muslim", except yours of course.

  8. Works in a dongle as well, sadly not in north Shropshire.
  9. I recently contacted TM by email (holding on the phone lost its appeal after 10 minutes) to inform them that I had moved the boat from Northampton Marina to Whixall Marina. Got an email back asking me to phone them so that they could discuss it. Phoned them, gave them the information and was asked if Whixall was an inland marina. The Shrewsbury staff were good, the new lot aren't. We could very likely become an ex-client at renewal time, despite twelve years with them, nine as resi. Great shame. 12. But if you are a cyclist on a pathway predominantly used by pedestrians, and in my experience towpaths are used by more pedestrians than cyclists, you should take care that you do not injure anyone. Passing elderly or frail people give them a wide berth, or hang back until you can do so. It is quite possible that the law might well take a different view should it ever come to court. Their honors do seem to be taking odd positions lately.
  13. Seems reasonable. Assuming that 76 year old Lancs pensioners are not in the habit of leaping in front of speeding cyclists ( a big assumtion I realise) how could it be otherwise?
  14. Nor me, where did you come across that?
