Plum Barlaston Neil Morrissey pub

Well had no great expectations when we moored here but what great food , not a great beer type pub but lovely ambience top top service too .give it a go

It’s ok ain’t it. 
Im happy with a pint of Bass, so Im fine with it on a sunny day,

sitting by the canal,

and there’s a good butcher down the road

We called there (Plume of Feathers) a couple of weeks ago -- it's a restaurant really not a pub, but the food was pretty good and the beer was decent. Not the kind of place to get wedged in for a session, but good for what it is... 🙂

It's good food at a reasonable price. We stop there every time we pass by.

As well as going to the Plume Feather we have walked up the hill and turned left where there is ( or was ) s very good pub with good food. Worth the walk

We ate there 2 days ago and it was excellent.

 

I had to Google to find out who Neil Morrissey was though 🙁

I thought the food was way over priced. Burger and chips £16.50 !!

That seems to be about normal prices these days, except in London where my steak and chips was £50.
