No boats, how boring.

Nothings moving, not even the water. Hopefully one day a boat will pass, I’ll put the same photo on this day 2025, 2026, 2027- - - 2050, so keep an eye on it to see if any boats appear in shot📸👍😂

I’d rather see one decent composed photo than 1000’s of random snaps though.

Yesterday 2024

Torksey Lock.

Was nice to visit with a different mode of transport and accommodation. Will definitely be going back in the near future.

Oh and the newly opened coffee shop by the Lock is fantastic.

Walked that section many times but only navigated it twice, later in 2014.

Memories.

For a moment I though CRT had added two park benches to the roundabout at Old Turn.

I was wondering how tired passers-by were supposed to access them?  :)

Black Sabbath Bridge BCN

I've said this before, but I still don't understand why CRT didn't name one of the many heavy metal bridges like this one as the Black Sabbath Bridge rather than a brick one.

It would have been more fitting, wouldn’t it?

but it seems it was important to place the Bench on Broad Street, the Birmingham Walk of Stars,

And I don’t think CRT had much to do with it other than accept it and of course appear for the opening and grab some limelight,

here’s good link to the bench: https://blacksabbathbench.co.uk
