  1. Reminds me of an old friend of mine that uses to stand in front of a mirror with his eyes closed trying to see what he looked like when asleep.
  2. What does white appear as then?
  3. Mix red and green makes brown, so red and green nav lights too close together a long distance away look brownish.
  4. What colours do colour blind folk see red and green as?

  7. If this throat plate is the half moon shaped thing held in by two nuts it needs to be removed, they're only for use in houses with much longer chimney's which give a stronger draw on the fire. Left in it will clog up the flue pipe.

  14. Some marina's would allow that, but if your travelling light why not d/i/y. I do all my small stuff in the sink with a homemade Rubbing board, Pre rinse in the river to get most of the soap out then a final rinse in the sink. If your hiring a trad style boat all the better, rig up a little washing line with a bit of string above the engine,'' clothe pegs are cheap and useful for other things too, like when you visit a sanitory station to empty the toilet or pump out, just pop one on your nose and hold your breath'' things will dry quickly there above the engine. If a cruiser stern boat rig up a couple of washing line front and back. Scrubbing boards can be bought cheap online or in oil shops here. The macho gueezers that won't relinquish the helm for er-indoors to have a go are easily identified, they almost always stand bolt upright, chin in the air like an admiral of the fleet, wear Breton or Captains hats and frequently bellow out orders and instructions to er- indoors at the front, sometimes by megaphone. The only time that Macho captain is likely to let er-indoors have a go at the helm is when he in quiet panic has made a huge boob himself, and big danger is iminent like he's headed the boat straight at a weir by mistake, bellows for her to come and have a go at the tiller, when disaster strikes, grabs the tiller back from her and blames her for the terrible results, Hope you have a tremendous and great holiday.
  15. Bad health especially breathing problems are with a great many folk caused by obesity, gorging on mountains of crap grub, one only has to note what some folk in front of you at the supermarket checkout sre buying ie, huge bottles of fizzy pop, burgers, sausage rolls, enormous bags of frozen chips, huge hunks of meat, massive bumper bags of crisps ect, big stacks of toilet rolls. Probably driven only half a mile to get there with the seat shoved right back and the steering wheel jambed in their fat tummy instead of walking and very likely go back home to gorge on big greasy fry ups and doughnuts whilst goggling at the telly or playing on laptops and phones. No excersize !!!. just heavy puffing and blowing when lurching about. As Harold Mc Millan once said,''We've never had it so good''. 🍿🥨🍨🥔🥩🥵
