  1. Beta every time! Ours is the 1903, 43hp model. Faultless after 18 years. Smooth as silk and doesn’t smoke at all. Always starts first time, even after the winter lay-up.

  3. I had a Beixo Electra electric bike and used it for five years. An excellent bike. Dutch built and with shaft drive. Coped with my 110kg easily and the battery was good for 20 plus miles. Not the cheapest, but beautifully built! https://beixo.com/product/beixo-electra/
  4. I guess you have never run a business?
  5. That is very commendable on the part of Anglo-Welsh. I have sympathy with them as they still have current expenses, wholly or partly covered by your payment for this years holiday (which you are not taking). When you take next years holiday, they will have no income for that week but still have the associated expenses! But they have ‘not delivered’ not through any fault of their own. This really is an unprecedented, global, situation. I think we should view this pragmatically. I am happy with a voucher. I should have been on the Broads last week. It didn’t happen. As the previous poster said, ‘next years holiday is sorted’!

  8. We also have a Dipstop locking cap. Excellent piece of kit. BUT...... the keys (2) are made of a very soft metal and I sheared one off in the lock. It was a bugger to remove. I have emailed and phoned DIPSTOP on numerous occasions to try and get a replacement, to no avail. And I tried many key cutting companies. No success as it is a unique design key and they can’t get the blanks. So I have to be VERY careful now with my only spare! ?
  9. My last renewal was about £220 if I recall correctly. They, GJW, started offering free RCR about three years ago. It didn’t affect the premium. It is only the basic level of RCR cover but I was paying about £120 a year for bronze membership. I had been paying RCR for about 5 years and never had to call them out. So far I have saved about £360 so that will go quite a way towards any repair bills should they be needed. I figure that at least with basic membership I have a point of contact should I have a breakdown.
