Mac of Cygnet
Got back to the boat today to find this notice. Anyone any idea who's organising it? Is it part of a series of meetings? I'm particularly intrigued about the speaker who 'helped make' the British Waterways Act 1995.

Athy
Is a "warter" someone who deals with unpleasant skin complaints? I must say that the invitation to "air your grievances about CRT" does somewhat restrict your scope when "express[ing] your ideas".

haggis
Sounds a bit like the poster whose posts earlier today have been deleted. Good modding! Although I think he is in London. Haggis

rgreg
Yes, let's have a meeting to moan about everything we don't like but not acknowledge any good points! I wonder what sort of delegate that will attract?

You missed the 1995 Act then eh, just 22 years ago?! But I agree with your point. I think this bloke pitched up recently on the cut assuming it was well, 'just there' and a 'free for all'. And now he is discovering the regulations one by one, and each is coming as a rude awakening. The poor flower. Horace42
"Also there will be a short speech on the British Waterways Act 1995. This is the act which enshrines your rights to be on the warter by someone who helped make it" Help make what ? - the Act? - or the warter ?
