Let's have a bit of fun and lighten the tone a little...

 

The Tv/film needs a name so how about ' Banbury Or Bust!'?

 

And a cast...

(Only want Hot Fuzz if they can recreate the 'Battle of Somerfield'!)

 

Anyone else any Ideas/suggestions?

Found this in Canal Boat magazine.

I guess they didn't know Holly had been found when they went to print.

Have just seen HOLLY on the Middlewich arm. Thought paint looked new so asked the guy on the back and he said it was holly. No name or company signage just fresh company colours.

Popped into Middlewich boats and spoke to Trish and yes Holly is out on her first hire since her kidnap.

Had a nice chat about the whole scenario but best if things not put in print at this time.

It was lovely to meet you all yesterday. Glad I was able to tell you a little more about the Holly saga!! As you rightly say - nothing can be put into print at this time.

 

Holly has gone out for the first time - unfortunately without her name. We were let down at the very last minute and the customers had hired her so we had no option but to let her go. We would have preferred her to go with full names and complany logo - but what's another week?? As soon as she is finished, I will try and get a picture to show her in her full glory.

 

If anyone else is passing thru' please come in and introduce yourselves.

I thought that it might get changed as she is obviously so valuable to you. Something like "Kings's Ransom" perhaps?!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If someone was bothered about somebody else using "their" boat, I don't think they'd choose a hireboat, do you? :cheers:
