The convoy of boats you saw was the BCNS Explorer Cruise. They are stopping at Pelsall Common this evening so will not get in anyone's way on locks!! captain.gif

NB Denry up the 21 just after 10am! We were the 1st up with several behind us, now on the very soggy curley wurly!

Infact only paul is still on deck, Little duck is puppy sitting Bella Basset who turns into a gremlin when she is wet and is now snoozing, hope the rain eases soon!

We have had a few things in the prop but all cleared without stopping so far!

The Great Mattress of Tame, or its cousin, has been spotted on an embankment on the Tame valley, waiting to pounce.

Team Poppy is damp and approaching Newton Junction.

Tawny Owl, where did you start? At the end of Bradley?

Just passed Birchills jn at 12:49, average speed looks like about 3 1/2 mph and lock time 6 1/2 mins, so ahead of schedule. Might have a late re-plan towards the end of the 24h period and do a bit more (if it stops raining)! Forecast is looking okay after about 2pm
