Our 3 year old Labrador called Paddy loves boating too. Just as well, we live aboard!

He's called Paddy because he's thick

 

No offence to fellow Irish people intended!

 

See you're from Caldy on the Wirral, if only there was a canal that passed through that lovely place

 

Even Parkgate is too silted up to get near the place.

Not my pet but spotted on The T & M near Anderton a couple of years ago.

 

He / she? had the habbit of hiding behind the doors, jumping up and woofing very loudly.

 

Made quite a few people jump, including me.

Resurrection time! Just had to share this pic of Dave & Millie snoozing on the sofa tonight and remembered this thread as the perfect place to put it (mind you it took a lot of searching to find it!).

As we are going to spend more time on the boat, we decided to take our cat Alfie with us. It is a long drive for him (about 7 hours), but he doesn't seem to mind. He has really taken to boating especially since he can do things he isn't allowed at home, like

 

sitting or sleeping on the bed

 

and standing on the kitchen worktop
