That looks like quite a fun but challenging project. Have you spoken to Truckcab on here or FB as he is also restoring a Springer? Good luck with your build.

Last known place it was willowbridge marina

So now got to find registration number I’ve I need it mabey get put right on here as to needed or not

The boat named Tui you pictured earlier is not a Springer. The boat pictured on this post is. Two different boats. And Tui has a round stern, the one above a square stern.

How about showing us some pictures of your boat, otherwise this is just wasting everybody's time!

So your boat is a Springer and clearly a different boat to the Tui pictured earlier in the thread. It also doesn't match any of the boats named Tui on the canalplan listing. So why do you think your boat was formerly named Tui? Looks like a complete red herring to me!

Google Earth has datestamps and a back catalogue of historic images. It looks as though your second image may have been from 14/7/2022:

Going back to earlier images (using this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.earth&hl=en_GB) it looks as though the boat (or another one very much like it) had arrived in that spot by 2017.

  • 2 weeks later...

Just spoke to previous owner not got very far on info tho he brought the boat in 2021 I think of 2 blokes at willowbridge marina one used to live on another boat moored there. He said they had it up for sale for quiet a few years and it was already stretched and porthole windows fitted he said it was called tui but had no reg number so not registered with crt he was trying to restore it but runout of funds so sold it to the fella I got it from. Missus emailed the marina for bit of info but the lady said she couldn’t really Remember it but recalled it’s name as tui it was probably in the boat yard for about 8 years from what he told us he did say the Spanish bloke he got it from gave him a reg number but he couldn’t get any info from it . So will rename and register it after all work on it’s completed
