The Gravy Boater
I have a boat where the previous owner's attitude to lighting was cleary "let's not fix it let's add more." I also have my USB head torch and if I do a karate chop move on my G8 Moto Power the light comes on... it was reason enough to buy it.

The Gravy Boater
Let's say any source of light and see how petty it gets, lol. There's probably some guy on a boat who has a business making candles.

Next stop replacement fittings and bedazzled LEDs. Dunno why two tunnel lights, but sensible to run one off the bow battery. Also good to run the horn from there. Neither item will be used except when engine running, so relays in the bow, switched from the stern, with the switches fed from engine supply. Cuts down on voltage drop, and the switches are only handling relay coil current.
mrsmelly
What about mains sockets then eh!! Since I bought this boat I have taken 8 out and that has left us with 26 sockets throughout the boat down from the original 34 as fitted when new.
