Wells next the Sea to Boston

 

This wasn't a very pleasant run back and at times we were down to 5-6 knots to keep the boats in the water and stop them taking off. We were lucky with a very late tide at Boston so we got locked in and onto the non tidal Witham when we expected to be spending the night on the mud on the tidal stretch.

 

Neither boat had much fuel left when we got moored up!
