Found this old photo we took on our hiring days.

 

Quite a decent reflection.

 

 

You can tell it's Wales

I didn't see the second picture at first and was about to make a sarcastic comment saying "why, is there a sheep hidden somewhere?".

 

Then I saw the second photo.

1st pic looks like the long rural section in between Whitchurch and Ellesmere.

 

2nd pic looks like the end of the dragstrip section near Prees junction. Ummm, I mean the long, straight, wide section where one can apply a little more throttle than normal, whilst still remaining below 4mph.

It will be at the back with the other one. If you begin to notice hire boats, the equipment is usually all over the place

I wonder how long the sheep remained there. There are notices on the fence advising boaters that the area is "private" and banning mooring. Other notices showing arrows and pointing out that the visitor moorings are X metres/yards along.

 

Obviously a boater friendly place.

Nice pics Mark, were you moored up or cruising??

Ocasionally I just drift to a stop to preserve the reflections, other times I just keep cruising.
