1st pic looks like the long rural section in between Whitchurch and Ellesmere.

 

2nd pic looks like the end of the dragstrip section near Prees junction. Ummm, I mean the long, straight, wide section where one can apply a little more throttle than normal, whilst still remaining below 4mph.

I think the second is StMartins Moor - just up from New Marton locks

I wonder how long the sheep remained there. There are notices on the fence advising boaters that the area is "private" and banning mooring. Other notices showing arrows and pointing out that the visitor moorings are X metres/yards along.

 

Obviously a boater friendly place.

Nice pics Mark, were you moored up or cruising??

Ocasionally I just drift to a stop to preserve the reflections, other times I just keep cruising.

Two from last weeks boat move (otherwise known as The Day It Didn't Rain!!)
