Are these videos of you working on boats?

No they are people out in the real world posting their independent experience.  Real people real world examples..

Not just keyboard worriors attacking new posters..

Posters here are just worried for you as most newcomers don't have the skills and or knowledge or persistence to redo these boats, and theres a very long history of people starting and not finishing them.

Sure some folk may make some money but add up all the hours spent and cost that out and its probably seldom a moneymaking venture, in comparison to spending that time on other ways of earning money.

Posting a few videos to try to prove experienced boaters with many backgrounds  working on their or their customers boats wrong is probably unhelpful.

One last try

I owned cars in past, always made money when resold.

Own house , vastly more worth since bought.

I buy sell, up cycle things for profit.( A very amateur Drew Pritchard, Salvage Hunters. Style of person )

I sell my art for cash. Drawing, paintings, photography.

I am by nature a doer, not a arm chair Keyboard warrior or Troll.

Better understand me?

Now this thread needs locking shut..

For a new member you have some brass neck.  You will not do well on this forum unfortunately.

Don't ask for advice. If I recognise it is you I will not be inclined to try to help someone with your apparent attitude. The advice that doer uppers are typically not a way to make a profit and should only be done for the fun of it was and remains good advice.

The forum lives up to its reputation...

I take it that you mean yet another new poster asking for advice, not liking the answers he gets and then getting obnoxious, but somehow I doubt that you do.

Probably not the wisest thing to post on a public forum, HMRC may be rather interested...

Well, you type a lot and seem to want a reaction from what you post.  So, pot calling kettle black??

There was another guy who posted on here about GRP projects, from the same area, said he was a bit of an engineer  who I’m sure had a art website, but I can’t think of his name. Maybe the OP would be better off talking to him(if I can think of his name) about GRP project boats In his area.

Could they possibly, just possibly, be one and the same?

I’m sure someone will remember him, was from Lancashire way, posted pics of run down GRP projects and on his info page said he was some form of boat engineer, but came on here asking basic questions about boat maintenance/repairs. The OP needs to find him.

Yet another topic degenerating into 'Handbags at Dawn' 👜 :clapping:

The boy stood on the burning deck,
Shouting to passing ducks.
“I wish I’d joined the RAF
This being a sailor sucks!”🤷🏻‍♂️

A variation on this that my old man used to say.

The boy stood on the burning deck, his back to the mast.

He wouldn't move a single step ' till Oscar Wilde had passed.

Now Oscar was a cunning chap, he threw the lad a plum, and when he bent to pick it up.............

Or. The boy stood on the burning decks
Approached by Gary Glitter
Who then took off his naval kecks
And woofed him up the shutter.

worth  a look

That might be the guy I’m on about, went under the name Wayne’s Boat Work Services, somewhere near Manchester seams to do a bit with GRP’s. Looks like his social media Facebook link is no more and searching the web no longer in business.

Dunkers is still right, others disagree. Still squabbling. You should go and have a look, think of it as a visit to the zoo, watching the monkeys poop chucking and self abusing. (Polite Euphemisms still not needed over there🤣). There are some tame animals on view and a rather fluffy beast in a straw hat who is literally nameless.
