Ebay has many brass nav lights of all types; I would think you could find a suitable one there. Howard
Ray T
Type “Vintage mast head light or lamp” in eBay search box. Good unmolested ones are’t cheap! Be aware of Copper copies and those converted to electric table lamps. https://www.piecesofship.com/shipsalvage.htm https://www.marinesalvageantiques.com/nautical-lanterns/ https://www.nautical-bygones.co.uk/store/ship-s-lighting Photo, Bulls Bridge paint store, unfortunately long closed. Or try The Samuel Barlow at Alvecote, the proprietor may have some. Edited October 23, 2021 by Ray T

An example in America: Wrong description (naturally). https://www.ebay.com/itm/274438880651?hash=item3fe5d4fd8b:g:RkcAAOSwQjhfAgcj Electrified though. But fortunately through the neck of the burner and not the tank. Poor condition for silly money - and then there's the shipping . . . And why do so many pages list 'masthead' lights and show Anchor lights? Banter from a previous thread:

An old Masthead light is unlikely to be of much assistance with navigation at night, their main purpose was for other ships to see them. If you want a useable parffin lanp, may I suggest a Tilley Search light , we had one on Pisces and it enabled us to navigate at night. They come up on ebay from time to time but are not cheap. Ray T
No idea of the date, Stoke Bruerne top lock. Another alternative, a highways / road works paraffin warning lamp. Painted by Harry Bentley. On display at Ellesmere Port. Edited October 23, 2021 by Ray T
Derek R.
Another interesting one: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/284393209276?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D1110006%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20200818142055%26meid%3D1a2dad3de3924611a2c1a146944ebd6a%26pid%3D101113%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D284456668227%26itm%3D284393209276%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2563228%26algv%3DDefaultOrganicWeb&_trksid=p2563228.c101113.m2108 Has the word TRAWLER where 'Masthead' might have been. David's mention of Tilley floodlights are of the FL series. The FL5 & FL6 models were popular: https://classicpressurelamps.com/forums/fl6-floodlight-projector.152/ Edited October 23, 2021 by Derek R. added text
