Onewheeler Posted July 19, 2020 Report Posted July 19, 2020 An observation: we are currently in France where pumpouts are fairly unknown. When I have a dump, the macerator sends a brown cloud out from the boat. The fish (mostly chub) go mad for it. There must be a business opportunity here. 'Poopybait'? Any better ideas?

mark99 Posted July 24, 2020 Report Posted July 24, 2020 The chub is also known as a Loggerhead. You know why now! 1 1

Stilllearning Posted July 26, 2020 Report Posted July 26, 2020 When yachting , moored off St Agnes on the Isles of Scilly, one of the ‘amusements’ was using the sea toilet and seeing the feeding frenzy that went on immediately after. Lovely crystal clear blue water, phosphorescence every night, and no, we didn’t fish where we were anchored.

Lovely crystal clear blue water, phosphorescence every night, and no, we didn’t fish where we were anchored. Years ago a friend of mine was working on a maintenance barge in Lodon docks when someone on the large freighter alongside used a sea toilet which promptly "deposited" on the barge. The gang did no more than weld a plate over the offending outlet. We all wondered just how many days/months would elapse before the plumbing backed up to announce a problem! 1 1
