Kirkstall Bridge, River Witham. 

 

And would you believe it there was plenty of mooring space. Never is when you plan to stop here though 🤣🤣🤣

 

 

 

 

We are now just down the road in Woodhall Spa for the weekend. Takes about an hour to get here in the van rather than a full day on the boat 🤣🤣🤣

It was a long time ago. I had heard or read they no longer work but wasn't sure whether that was correct or not.

If you to get somewhere fast there are  much  better and usually much cheaper options compared to travelling by boat .

IIRC thy were installed in 2005 and since then I have only seen them all working twice...
